Retreat #1, Moroccan Sketchbook is a drawing and painting retreat held at the glamourous Peacock Pavilions just outside of Marrakech. Participants enjoy fabulous accommodations at this boutique hotel, authentic Moroccan cuisine, the wonders of Marrakech, the souks, les Bains de Marrakech spa, individualized drawing and painting instruction, a personally signed copy of Maryam Montague's book, Marrakesh by Design and more! Art supplies are provided. Everyone is welcome, no experience necessary.

Retreat #2, Plein Air Painting in Morocco
Join us for a fabulous week painting in exotic Marrakech and Essaouria.
This workshop focuses on the plein air oil sketch. We will work on site in Marrakech, at Yves Saint- Laurent’s gorgeous Marjorelle Gardens and Essaouria, an Atlantic seaport town with prehistoric roots.
In both Marrakech and Essaouria, we will stay in the old city at hip Riads, explore the souks and enjoy authentic Moroccan cuisine.
Instruction is by demonstration on most mornings at selected sites followed by individual one on one instruction at the easel.
